Dark Crystal Collection - Sketches 2 - Urskek Characters
Collection of sketches of my own urSkek characters.
As previously stated, the urSkeks are by far my most favorite creation and creature out of the entire lore given from the Dark Crystal franchise. They are very unique and endless in possibility when it comes to their creation, design, world, and so forth!
With my own characters, I like to explore those concepts!
YalYor, lounging quietly in his home.
SeiShin, in a different timeline where he lives a more peaceful lifestyle and has a family of his own to care for.
SeiShin, as he currently is, serves as the Ritual Justice. Here, he performs an intense ritual that helps him see visions
After hours of going through such an intense ritual, SeiShin is unable to stand and falls over. He is not alone, as soon several aides will come by to help him recollect himself.
YalYor is prepared by his mother to start the day
TuWi follows behind ZokZah in a ritual procession
LanLut offers SarKu a small gift

VirDhas moments before his banishment
SarKu sees a bright, unknown light
Done for laughs in reference to the "For The Birds" Pixar short with SarKu and several unnamed urSkeks
Part a joke with friends is that SarKu is just horrid to be around. So, in light of the Creation Myths, I joked that SarKu would knowingly and happily annoy Raunip
VirDhas and his children, have a run in with TirTal, the other kids parent. This was done as a meme reference as well.

Both sketches (this and after) were done as a reaction to some fan art made for me
VirDhas, struggling with the darkness inside of him
VirDhas has snapped, killing his mate as the darkness consumes him

Had VirDhas been able to reunite with the other urSkeks, his looks would have changed
VirDhas and Sakiia reunited
Finally reunited, the two take their leave into a happier life
